How does it work?

Enter Your Registration
To get started with your free valuation, you simply need to enter your vehicle's registration number into the online tool.

Vehicle Details
At this stage you'll be asked to enter some details about the service history, mileage and overall condition of your vehicle.

Your Contact Details
Now we have some information about your car, we just need some contact details so that we can send you a copy of your valuation.

Your Valuation
Once you've confirmed your details, we'll display your valuation and send you a copy via email and text. If you're happy with the valuation you can then book an appointment at one of our CarStore Centres to sell your car.
A hassle-free selling experience
Our Sell Your Car service offers you a hassle-free selling experience, and most importantly, a fair price.
We've done our best to make the whole selling process as simple as possible. We'll provide a free instant valuation for your car based on details about its history and mileage, and then it's up to you whether or not you want to go ahead with the sale.
The valuations we provide are based on the current market, so you can be confident you're getting a competitive valuation for your car. Alternatively, if we're selling a car you like the look of, then you can part-exchange your car.
What happens next?

We appreciate you may want some time to consider the valuation we've provided, so it'll be valid for seven days. If you want to proceed, then you'll need to book an appointment at your preferred CarStore Centre, which can be done at the final valuation stage.
What you need to bring with you
In order to sell your car with us, we ask that you bring the following items and documentation:
- Your driving licence
- A bank statement that's addressed to your name and current address (dated within the last three months)
- Your vehicle's V5 Registration document
- Where applicable, the vehicle's service history
- All keys (including spares)
- A valid finance settlement letter that shows the finance company's settlement figure and bank details (if applicable)
Once you've sold
We'll inform the DVLA that you've sold the car to us, and they'll send you confirmation in the post. If you settled any finance, then you'll get a letter or email from them confirming that the final figure has been settled.
